Salon OS is designed so salons retain ownership of the business and client information they provide, subject to lawful processing, account security and contractual obligations.

Authorized processing
Salon OS processes information to provide, secure, support and improve the subscribed service under the applicable agreement and privacy terms.

Export planning
Common operational records are intended to be exportable in usable formats. Exact fields, attachments and historical depth are confirmed during implementation and offboarding.

Controlled deletion
Deletion requests are handled through authenticated account processes and may be subject to backup cycles, legal requirements and fraud or security retention.

Subprocessors
Specialized providers may support hosting, messaging, email, payment or integration services. Material providers are disclosed through privacy and implementation documentation.

Offboarding support
Before account closure, salons should request exports and confirm retention requirements. Founding Salon offboarding is coordinated directly with the implementation team.
Current release-stage limitation: Export coverage and automated self-service deletion are still being validated for general availability. The implementation agreement must identify the confirmed export and offboarding scope for each founding salon.
